I’m travelling a lot in order to disseminate the results of my research. I met many people around the world that are working hardly in the field, with enthusiasm and commitment. I love engaging in philosophical discussions with colleagues, friends and the public, and I always learn a lot.
Below you can see some pictures, and also heard some records and watch some videos. The publication of the papers are forthcoming in many international venues.
Dissemination for the civil society: I have a peculiar interest in the valorization of the practice of philosophy for different groups of interest. In the past I organised conferences and workshops on many topics, as genocide, violence against women and the right to philosophy, and designed and developed trainings for local CBOs. In the last years my activities for the civil society were dedicated to the emotional intelligence for the caregivers, through a project established among the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, the Board of the Medical Surgeons of Venice and a local CBO (Libera Associazione di Idee). Arrived in Edinburgh, I found in the Edinburgh University Chaplaincy a very welcoming and stimulating place for designing and, then, developing some outreach activities for my project “Emotions First”. With Harriet Harris we designerd the Roots of Compassion Workshops and we also did many other activities together, as A light for All – When Education Becomes Possible, University Chaplaincy Centre, 1 Bristo Square, Edinburgh, 25th October 2017 Program. I also collaborated with the Outreach Office of the UoE for delivering some workshops to P7-P9 students: I led some workshops as outreach activities in March and April 2017.
